primeHandle
primeHandle is an open-source set of data management tools in support of the
PrIMe Initiative.
The primeHandle codes provide methods to get data from the PrIMe Data Warehouse, while isolating the
user from the complexity of the data store structure, the data storage format, and the communication
protocol details.
Besides the data retrieval functions for use in other PrIMe software components, primeHandle includes
also graphical user interfaces for searching through the data collections, for entering new or editing
existing data in a controlled, menu-driven, user-friendly environment, and for submitting new data to
the PrIMe Data Warehouse.
